Summer is coming and we can’t wait to soak up the sun, fun and amazing energy that this season brings. But this isn’t your typical “beach body” article! At de la heart we’re all about self-love and self-care, and we can’t stress enough that every body is a beach body. These tips from our very own beauty boss, Gigi Vogel, will boost your glow, your energy and—most of all—your confidence. You’ve heard of the summer of love? Well consider this the summer of body love!
Say good-bye to winter flakes
Feeling good in your skin starts with treating it kindly—that means nothing that strips away skin’s natural moisture or irritates with harsh chemicals. When it comes to exfoliation, dry brushing is the way to go. It’s gentle, ideal for all skin types, and safe if you’re pregnant or nursing. Plus, it’s so easy to do. Just grab your Body Brush and move it over dry skin in gentle circular motions, working toward your heart. The friction it creates will slough away dull, dead skin and reveal glowing skin underneath.
