How I Stay Well While Traveling

Brr! It is chilly in Aspen, but I appreciate the free cryotherapy. Am I right? After a few days of traveling, skiing, and doing all the fun activities one does while being on vacation in the mountains, I need a little extra self-care to get me through the last days. Below is my step-by-step self-care guide on staying well while traveling, especially in mountain towns with cold climates!
For dry skin:
I love a multi-purpose oil to keep me hydrated from head to toe. Use our Organic Sweet Almond Oil on dry hair ends, after cleansing your face, and for full-body hydration.
For relieving bloat:
The Body Brush makes the perfect travel companion. I love how soft the bristles are & how easy it is to hold when in use. Remember to keep it dry & away from any makeup or liquids!
For hydrating from the outside in:
My self-care regime isn't complete without a nice hot bath! I love soaking in our Bath Therapy for an Open Heart after a long trip or after a rigorous workout. The all-natural sea salt in the bath soak remineralizes my body & the magnesium helps my muscles release tension. I also love how the rosebuds make bath time feel luxurious, no matter where I am.
For improving circulation:
If I had to pick one thing to travel with, it would be The Lymphatic Drainage Body Tool. It is our hero at DLH headquarters for a reason! This travel-friendly tool does it all, from draining the lymphatic system to relieving bloat, improving circulation, & releasing tension in the muscles.
Pair this ritual with our Organic Coconut Shea Butter for optimal hydration. The thickness of this body butter creates an atmosphere barrier, preventing the likeliness of getting dry & flaky skin.
