Back To School, Back To Goals

Summer is coming to an end and a new season is starting! Whether you just sent your little ones back to schoolor the start of the school year simply reminds you of new beginningsit’s the perfect time to do a quick goal check and set your intentions for the rest of the year.

 Protect your skin

Consider this your reminder that you still need to protect your skin from harsh UV rays, even after we’ve said goodbye to summer. Keep a Wide Brim Visor in your bag so you can stay protected if you can’t reapply your SPF. “We designed it with a 5-inch brim to give you instant shade,” Gigi says. And of course, wear a minimum of SPF 30 on your face every day.   Move mindfully

Making movement a regular part of your life will benefit your body and your mind—and it doesn’t have to be stressful or take up hours of your day! Make it a goal to incorporate movement naturally into your day. Have a few minutes before school pick-up or between Zoom calls? Grab your Love Your Body Resistance Bands and do 2 sets of marches and 2 sets of squats to fire up your core and get your metabolism going.

  Connect to your body

Take five… for self-care. Performing your at-home lymphatic drainage massage ritual supports your body’s natural detox flowinstantly boosts your energand gives you time to center your mindLymphatic drainage massage is an essential self-care tool, and our Body Toolmakes it easy to do a DIY massage at home,” Gigi says. “I designed the curved shape so you can easily reach all areas of your body, and one session only takes five minutes.

 Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate

If you’ve fallen behind on your hydration goals, don’t stress. Start by setting a mini-goal to drink one glass of cool or room temperate water first thing every morning. Not only does it help flush away toxins and kickstart your metabolism, also helps your skin retain elasticity and radiance. Keep the bouncy skin benefits going by hydrating with natural oils like our Organic Jojoba Oil or Sweet Almond Oil to seal in moisture.
