This glowing green smoothie is my best and favorite recipe. Smoothies are the best way to get some health and goodness into your body with only a few sips. This recipe is #vegan and packed with healthy nutritious ingredients. It's filling enough for breakfast or as a snack throughout the day.
Spinach: Contains high levels of folate and folic acid, great for renewing skin and for all the pregnant mamas!
Avocado: Filled with monounsaturated fatty acids, which are the good fats that help keep our skin moist and hydrated.
Coconut milk: Contains medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs), which researchers have linked with weight loss.
INGREDIENTS serves 16 oz (2 people)
1 cup of fresh spinach
1 cup of fresh curly kale
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple or mango chunks
1 cup of coconut milk
1 cup of coconut water
2 scoops of preferred plant-based protein powder
1 tsp of maca powder
1/2 tsp of spirulina
Add all your ingredients into a Vitamix-like blender. Blend until smooth. If using fresh fruit, add ice to achieve desired temperature. Top with berries.
