Saint Tropez: Laidback Chic

If you’re new around here, welcome. If you’ve been following me for a while, thank you. Either way, you should know that de la heart was born out of the love and personal passion for cultivating & delivering my knowledge, most recent discoveries, best-kept wellness secrets, and travel guides to my community.
And when I think travel, I think Saint Tropez, France—the epitome of laidback chic, effortless glamour, and the ultimate vacation spot. I've gathered a few of my best travel tips and favorite places in Saint-Tropez so you can explore the dreamy destination of the south.

MOST FREQUENTLY USED:
COCONUT SHEA BUTTER
St. Tropez does chic at a level that is incomparable to anywhere else on the planet. The birthplace of beach clubs starts in the South of France and in St. Tropez, you’ll find a variety of beach clubs that have been around since the 1950s. And while Club 55 has turned into a tourist trap, the new kids on the block have come to keep up with the beach-club high standards.

My faves? Shellona, Jardin Tropezina, Cabane Bambou, Lou Lou, La Reserve, & Indie Beach. And after working on my Mediterranean tan, I hydrated my skin daily with our organic coconut shea butter

WORKOUT:
TAKE A HIKE
Always do as the locals do…and the locals take it outside. My favorite form of exercise while in St. Tropez is an early morning hike. You must hike the trails running along the shores of the southern St. Tropez peninsula.
My go-to? The coastal trail from Cap Camarat to l’Escalet and from Plage de Gigaro to Cap Lardier. Plage de l'Escalet is the hidden gem of the Azur and possibly one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen.

Perfect spot for skinny dipping!

LAST TRIP:
AIX-EN-PROVENCE
St. Tropez is an hour and half away by car from the most beautiful destinations. Making day trips a must when in the French Riviera! We took a day trip to Aix-en-Provence, home to all the lavender, gardenia, and sunflower fields in the south of France. Also a city for culture lovers—a place to stroll the curving streets, flaky pastry in hand, as you browse the colourful boutiques, & shop at the street markets.

RESTAURANTS TO TRY:
SO MANY
I thrive on the Mediterranean diet making it really easy for me to wine & dine in the French Riviera, particularly in St. Tropez. Food here is fresh, high quality, organic or should I say “bio”, straight forward, and absolutely delicious.

Breakfast? Senequier, JU for fresh green juices, & for the BEST croissants and pastries La Patisserie Cyril Lignac.
Brunch? Dior des Lices.
Lunch? La Petite Plage, Gigi Ramatuelle, Le Girelier, & La Reserve Plage.
Happy Hour? Le Tigrr.
Dinner? Le Salama, Banh-Hoï, Kinugawa & Caviar Kaspia
Best Pizza? Pizza d’Arte.
Best Ice Cream? Barbarac.
Best Casual Pick-Up? Falafel & Co.

Saint-Tropez market is held on Tuesday and Saturday mornings, in Place des Lices, in the heart of town. You'll find all kind of products ranging from fresh, organic produce to chic clothing and home decor.
