Destination: Blackberry Mountain

Blackberry Mountain is southern hospitality at its best. Located delightfully in the middle of nowhere, the luxe location hosts some of the most breathtaking mountain views I’ve ever seen.
“The Mountain” is the health & wellness spinoff of “The Farm”, known for its massive wine collection and fine dining. Since its opening in 2019, Blackberry Mountain, has become the perfect active vacation catering to health gurus and wine lovers alike. So, if you’re looking for a getaway filled with “wow moments”, top-notch food, & seamless service… look no further because you’ve reached your next reset & recharge destination.
Travel time:
From Miami you can fly into Knoxville followed by a 30 min drive to “The Mountain”.
What to expect:
Blackberry Mountain is a reflection of both the natural beauty of the land and a commitment to excellence in hospitality and experience. Continuing a legacy of appreciation for the land, they make an effort to preserve the natural wonder of the mountains and their breathtaking views. Don’t forget your cameras! Everywhere you look is a picture-perfect moment.
We chose to lodge in the Treehouses, perfectly situated in the forest, private, sexy, and romantic. Perfect accommodation for 2, as they make for the perfect intimate escape. Exactly what we were going for. Good for kids? Hell no!
Plenty of self-guided activities like hikes, tennis & paddle courts, fitness classes, an incredible gym, and a few pools. However, once you’re there you have to “pay to play” and it ain’t cheap! We chose the private cooking class, clay shooting, sound bathing, yoga & wine tasting. All activities your concierge is happy to book for you and organize a schedule for your stay.
I was pleasantly surprised by the food; thoughtfully elevated and crafted with local and foraged produce from the region. My favorite restaurants were Three Sisters & Firetower, a real culinary experience in every single meal.
The staff is soooo nice and helpful and I loved that the property has a no-tipping policy, until checkout of course.
Don’t miss:
Taking a hike in the perfectly manicured hiking trails that lead to the Valley was one of my favorite moments of our stay. Sunsets at the Firetower are out of this world, and the spa treatments are some of the best I’ve ever had.
